Working principle: Put the medicinal materials into the tank, add solvent, turn on the heating system to make the extract boil, and part of the extract is pumped into the concentration tank. The secondary steam generated by the concentration is condensed and refluxed to the extraction tank as a new solvent to form a circulation extraction.

1. Preparation stage: Check whether all parts of the equipment are normal, crush or slice the medicinal materials as required, and put them into the extraction tank, and add an appropriate amount of solvent.

2. Extraction stage: Turn on the heating and stirring device to make the solvent fully contact with the medicinal materials and extract. According to the characteristics of the medicinal materials and the extraction requirements, control the extraction temperature and time. Generally, the extraction temperature is 60-100℃ and the extraction time is 1-3 hours.

3. Filtration and separation: After the extraction is completed, the extract is separated from the medicinal residue by the filtration device to obtain a crude extract.

Working principle: Integrate extraction, separation, distillation, concentration and other functions. Key process points

1. Common requirements for pretreatment

Grinding degree: Most equipment needs to grind the medicinal materials into particles or powder (such as 20-100 mesh) to increase the solvent contact area and improve the extraction efficiency.

Dryness: Herbs with high water content need to be dried in advance (water content <10%) to avoid solvent dilution or mildew.

2. Solvent selection

Water: Suitable for water-soluble components (such as alkaloid salts and glycosides), low cost but easy to mildew, need to be handled in time.

Organic solvents (ethanol, methanol, etc.): Extract fat-soluble components (such as volatile oils and flavonoids), need to pay attention to recycling and safety.

3. Core parameters of process control

Temperature: High temperature (such as multi-function tank) accelerates the dissolution of water-soluble components.

Time: Multi-function tank/concentrator takes 1-3 hours.

Stirring/shear rate: The stirring rate of the multi-function tank is low (10-30 rpm).
